Google just made a major update to its Gemini AI, and it’s a game-changer. You can now upload up to 10 images at once whether you’re on Android, iOS, or even the web. Before this, users could only upload one image at a time, which made the experience slow and frustrating.
Why Could We Only Send One Image Before?
Gul Bano, a student from Islamabad, uses the Gemini AI app for her project presentations. She says:
“Before, I uploaded one image at a time. Now I can add 10 at once—it saves so much time.”
With the latest update, users can select multiple images from the gallery on both Android and iOS. The in-app camera also supports this feature. If it doesn’t show up right away, simply Force Stop the app and reopen it.
Same Rule for the Web Version
If you’re using gemini.google.com, the same 10-image upload limit applies there as well. This feature works across all modern Gemini models, such as 2.0 Flash, 2.5 Flash, and 2.5 Pro.
Feedback Requested from Users
On the occasion of this announcement, Gemini team lead Josh Woodward encouraged users to share their feedback on features they find confusing or inconvenient.
The Rising Importance of Images
Now that users can upload multiple images at once, it highlights how AI technology is increasingly prioritizing visual content. This change enables Gemini users to interact with the AI from multiple visual perspectives within a single prompt.
If you want to explore more advanced features, Gemini’s new photo editing tools offer a whole new experience.
Do Other AI Apps Offer This Too?
As image-based interaction grows, it’s evident that AI is becoming the world’s fastest graphic designer. This trend shows that users increasingly prefer systems that can interpret and respond to visual input.
Where Is All This Heading?
This is just the beginning. You can run from AI, but you can’t escape it — a truth that is becoming more evident with features like those offered by Gemini. In the same context, Meta has also taken a new step by using public posts from Europe to train its AI models.
